Is the finger joint visible with transparent varnish?

Yes, with a transparent finish, the finger joints and lamellar structure are visible. This gives the wood a technically sophisticated and modern look. For opaque paintwork, the surface is perfectly smooth and even.

What does D4 bonding mean?

D4 is the highest grade of wood adhesive for non-load-bearing structures. This means the bond can withstand frequent exposure to running water or condensation. Ideal for interior window frames (provided they are properly finished).
