Why choose Bilinga decking boards?

Bilinga is known for its striking yellow- to golden-brown color and excellent durability. It's an excellent alternative to woods like Azobé or Bankirai, especially when a refined appearance needs to go hand in hand with brute strength.

Extreme durability: With a natural durability class of 1/2, Bilinga can last 25 years or longer untreated, even in direct contact with soil or water.
Warm aesthetics: The golden yellow colour fades under the influence of sunlight to a very even and stylish silver-grey.
High load capacity: Thanks to its high density, the wood is extremely suitable for intensively used terraces, bridges and jetties.
Mold and insect resistant: Naturally highly resistant to attack, making chemical treatment unnecessary.

Maintenance and processing

Bilinga is a hard wood. We therefore always recommend that you pre-drilling and use high-quality stainless steel decking screws. If you prefer a natural weathering, simply cleaning with water periodically will suffice.

Specialist tip: Combine Bilinga decking boards with a substructure of Azobé or Bilinga battens for a construction that lasts equally long.
