Das aus Accoya- und Kiefernholz gefertigte Geb\u00e4ude wurde am 16. April offiziell er\u00f6ffnet. Zu diesem Zweck lieferte Boogaerdt Hout Accoya\u00ae.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Das Vogelobservatorium liegt mitten im Naturschutzgebiet Scheelhoek, nahe dem Haringvlietdam bei Stellendam. Im Auftrag des Dream Fund-Projekts wurde ein beeindruckendes \u201eNaturkunstwerk\u201c in einer der sch\u00f6nsten Umgebungen der Niederlande platziert. Als Reaktion auf den Haringvliet Kierbesluit wollen die gemeinsamen Naturschutzorganisationen die Flut schrittweise reduzieren und die Auswirkungen f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit sichtbar machen. Das Gebiet ist ein Nahrungs- und Brutgebiet f\u00fcr Watv\u00f6gel wie die Flussseeschwalbe und die Brandseeschwalbe. Von der Sternwarte aus k\u00f6nnen diese Brutv\u00f6gel aus n\u00e4chster N\u00e4he bewundert werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Struktur ist vollst\u00e4ndig abnehmbar, mit lokalem Stroh gedeckt und an ihrer eif\u00f6rmigen Holzkonstruktion zu erkennen.<\/p>\n<p>Der untere Teil des Eies besteht aus Accoya\u00ae-Holzbalken. Dieser Teil des Observatoriums kann beispielsweise aufgrund von Gezeiten\u00e4nderungen \u00fcberflutet werden.
